Residential & Commercial Water and Sewer Services
All water/sewer customers shall pay a minimum service fee per month to keep services active. All customers shall be required to pay monthly usage charges with respect to each gallon of water used and with respect to each gallon of sewer used as follows:

Usage Usage Charge Inside City Limits

0 to 5,000 gallons $2.15 per thousand

5,001 to 10,000 $2.15 per thousand

10,001 to 15,000 $2.15 per thousand

15,001 to 20,000 $2.15 per thousand

Over 20,000 gallons $2.15 per thousand

An after hours drop box is located at the City of Baconton, 333 E Walton St. Baconton, GA 31716

All returned checks will be charged a $30.00 fee.

Failure to receive a bill does not relieve you of the obligation to pay.

No Two Accounts shall be open at the same time unless services are being rendered. There shall be a service fee for all temporary service.

There shall be a processing fee and/or reconnection fee in the amount of $30.00 for each reconnection required of the Authority. Reconnection of water is NOT immediate however it will be turned on before 5pm the same day.

The Non Refundable service deposit payable at the time of initiation of service shall be $75.00 for water and sewer service. Services will be turned on before closing of business.

Emergency Service:
Please call Anthony Morman (Public Works Director) for Emergency situations ONLY:

– Water escaping from a line from the meter to the road or anywhere in the road.

– Sewer escaping from a line or manhole.

– Water escaping from a fire hydrant.
